At WSS, we focus consistently on character development and leadership, so that our students and staff are prepared to manage the challenges they face, and make the most of every opportunity that is presented. Learning from failure and building on success are very much part of the ethos of WSS family life.

Student leadership opportunities begin in KG, with class leadership responsibilities, and reflection on what they have learnt from their experiences. In the Secondary Section, students undertake community service through the ‘Passport Programme’, earning hours towards their Service Certificate with initiatives involving career skills development, innovation activities, peer teaching and mentoring younger students.

In recognition of the range of international post-Secondary educational requirements, our Secondary Section offers duel pathways for students to pursue international Board exams (such as Cambridge IGCSE, AS and ‘A’ Levels). We are also unique in Sharjah to offer Health and Nutrition as an IGCSE, a very popular subject.

Our Alumni report that they feel prepared for the challenges of ‘life after WSS’, and miss the one-to-one care and support that is provided by our dedicated team. We acknowledge and celebrate that learning is hard work, and the foundation of life-long success!
