GEMS Westminster School, Sharjah, has incorporated Digital Literacy into the curriculum, which is defined as ‘the ability to effectively and critically navigate, evaluate, and create information using a range of digital technologies’. Digital Literacy is a crucial skill that GEMS Education foster and encourage in its classrooms, which is why at GEMS Westminster School we utilise free research-based tools to help students harness technology for learning and life. The K-12 Digital Citizenship Curriculum teaches students how to make safe, smart, and ethical decisions in the digital world.
